Dermafile

 

A manual process of skin resurfacing that allows the removal of the top layer of dead skin cells, leaving the skin exfoliated. Diamond plated files are used to address specific problem areas associated with acne scarring, stretch marks, enlarged pores or uneven, rough skin.

 

This treatment can be added to or replaces microdermabrasion in some instances. It is excellent for some patients with rosacea when avoidance of breaking of capillaries is essential.
